West Kent in Kent Senior Team Tournament

​All the players seemed to enjoy the day but recognising there were some excellent players there.
The realistic initial expectation was 9th or 10th. We came 8th, losing to Canterbury for 7th place.
In our group we credibly won 2 (North West Kent and Dover B)  and lost 2 (Folkestone and Thanet B) getting 7 points for 4th place. The top three got 9/9/10 pts, fifth got 5 pts.
A very well played to Graham, John and Steve who all get good wins and went to five in many of their losses. Roger came on as sub for Graham (who had return if his arm injury) in the last group match and helped seal a win. Steve and Roger had good doubles win in play off v Canterbury, turning round a first leg loss into a three to one win.
Thanks to WK for paying the entrance fee. Thanks to the participating players. All of us played in WK shirts and were far and away the smartest ones there (which was commented upon by many and we should be getting a team photo sent for web site).
