Table Tennis For Everyone - Table Tennis For The Community

Picture
Welcome to the website of West Kent Table Tennis Association (WKTTA), the local table tennis league for the towns of Sevenoaks, Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells and their surrounding villages.

The history of WKTTA can be traced back over 50 years and a number of the clubs that operated then are still going strong. In 2009 the Tonbridge League merged with the Tunbridge Wells League to become the Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells & District Table Tennis League. In 2014 we changed our name to West Kent Table Tennis Association to better reflect the catchment area of the participating clubs and players.

Our Aim

The aim of the Association is to promote the game of table tennis and to create a local table tennis community  in the West Kent area which will allow players of all ages and abilities to enjoy both competitive and social table tennis in a friendly and welcoming environment.

Our Activites

WKTTA operates a league. The ‘11-up’ competition consists of two player teams, with each player playing the two players of the opposing team on a best of five basis, with one doubles.

The Association runs Sunday morning table tennis sessions at Meadows School in Southborough. Players of all standards and all ages are welcome. Details are here. There are also Wednesday evening sessions, run independently by Meadows Table Tennis Club.

We are affiliated to Table Tennis England as well as the Kent County Table Tennis Association.
